Felicity Hall, Potter by the Sea
Felicity Hall is an Australian potter that has been working in clay for over 30 years.
She began her creative studies at East Sydney Technical College (now National Art School) studying fine arts and ceramics. She has also studied ceramics in China, Japan and France.
In her practice, Felicity uses a combination of hand building techniques and the pottery wheel. She experiments with clays, slips, glazes and firing methods.
Felicity lives and works on Gadigal land of the Eora Nation. Her studio, Potter by the Sea, is located at Maroubra Beach in Sydney. Her work is inspired by the coastal environment and the endangered Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub of Malabar Headland.
